If you need immigration legal assistance, we are here to help you. Email support@sceair.org to receive paperwork for an intake consultation. Bring the paperwork and all your documents during the intake, so we can thoroughly evaluate your immigration case. Currently we only directly assist with immigration legal matters before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
 

Southern Center for Equity Advancement and Immigrant Refuge is a Department of Justice (DOJ) recognized organization that has worked with immigration attorneys and with DOJ accredited representatives with other DOJ recognized organizations. After reviewing your intake information, if pro bono attorneys or DOJ accredited representatives decide to take on your immigration matter, they will directly represent you before the government.
 

Before the government, your case could be under the jurisdiction of the DHS / USCIS https://www.uscis.gov, or DOJ / Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) https://www.justice.gov/eoir.

Typically, if you are applying for immigration benefit affirmatively, your immigration case will be with DHS / USCIS. If you are in removal proceedings and seeking immigration relief defensively, your case will be with DOJ / EOIR.
