If you need immigration assistance, we are here to help you connect with pro bono attorneys or Department of Justice (DOJ) accredited representatives. Our non-attorney volunteers will conduct an intake and forward your information to local and nationwide pro bono attorneys and DOJ accredited representatives.
Southern Center for Equity Advancement and Immigrant Refuge has worked with attorneys both from large law firms or small private practice and with accredited representatives from other nonprofit organizations that are recognized by the DOJ. After reviewing the intake information, if the attorneys or accredited representatives decide to take on your immigration matter, they will directly represent you before the government.
Before the government, your case could be under the jurisdiction of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, (USCIS) https://www.uscis.gov, or DOJ Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) https://www.justice.gov/eoir.
